This cooperative proposal aims to integrate an <strong>interactive maintenance assistant powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI)<\/strong> within TAI Smart Factory&#8217;s Q-Plant MM software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consortium, coordinated by the Packaging Cluster, has the technological participation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taismartfactory.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TAI Smart Factory<\/a> and the industrial validation of the companies <a href=\"https:\/\/wys.es\/en\/\">Witte y Sol\u00e1<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.rieusset.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rieusset<\/a>, which will implement this technology in their production plants to check its operation in real environments. <a href=\"https:\/\/dribia.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dribia<\/a> will collaborate as an advisor for the development of the algorithmic prototype and the Integration of the interactive maintenance assistant into the plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>The goal: An intelligent assistant for the operator<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The central purpose of SIGMA is to provide direct, agile and intuitive support to operators and maintenance managers. Through a <strong>natural language interface <\/strong>&nbsp;and conversational format, the system will make it easy to consult the history of incidents and access complex technical information that was previously difficult to exploit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project addresses critical challenges of Industry 5.0, such as the <strong>centralization of<\/strong> often dispersed maintenance data and interoperability between machines of different generations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Impact on efficiency and competitiveness<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SIGMA will allow a <strong>drastic reduction in unplanned downtime<\/strong> and, consequently, an <strong>optimization of operating costs<\/strong>. This will allow industrial companies to increase their competitiveness and capacity for innovation in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Shared value: Sustainability and well-being<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project generates a multidimensional positive impact by <strong>reducing waste and improving energy efficiency<\/strong>, which directly contributes to cleaner, more sustainable and circular production. At the same time, it promotes <strong>social well-being<\/strong> by reducing the work stress of operators through intuitive support tools and by encouraging the development of key digital skills, thus increasing employability and talent retention in the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The results obtained will not only be applicable to the Witte y Sol\u00e1 and Rieusset plants, but the solution is <strong>scalable and replicable<\/strong> in other companies in the packaging sector and related sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With SIGMA, the Packaging Cluster reaffirms its mission to improve the competitiveness of the packaging ecosystem through projects with a high technological and social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project, which will run until July 2026, with a total budget of \u20ac99,852.19, is partially funded with the support of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accio.gencat.cat\/ca\/inici\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ACCI\u00d3<\/a>, within the call: Subsidies for growth and strategic change &#8211; Cluster cooperatives 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Packaging Cluster is leading a new strategic initiative: the SIGMA project\u00a0 &#8211; Integration of a generative AI assistant for the Q-PLANT MM maintenance software in production plants.
