The company of Witte y Solá group specialized in plastic injection, Amfer Transformación de Plásticos SL, has been certified ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 15378 (Standards of Correct Manufacturing GMP’s) and 14001 (Environmental Management).
This is a very important step for Amfer since it levels up with the mother company, Witte y Solá. Amfer is primarily responsible for the production of caps and nozzles for different laminated and aluminum tubes that are manufactured in our plant in Sant Fost de Campcentelles.
What does it mean to have these certifications?
ISO certificates are a set of standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) seeking to demonstrate processes and procedures within companies in different areas and departments. They establish standards and guidelines applicable to all types of companies or organizations.
Thanks to these standards, consumers know the commitment of companies with quality, the environment and the management of resources, among others.
ISO 9001
The standard is developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and refers to the quality management systems of public and private organizations. Its objective is to prove the quality of products and services and customer satisfaction.
ISO 15378
In addition, the ISO 15378 standard contains the quality requirements of ISO 9001 and the conditions of good manufacturing practices (GMP) applied to the design, manufacture, procurement of primary packaging materials (glass, rubber, plastic, aluminum…) for pharmaceutical products. These conditioning materials pose a significant risk since they are in direct contact with the product, so its control and certification is a guarantee.
In addition to demonstrating that these requirements of the pharmaceutical industry meet the respect standards to the quality of materials, it also ensures that quality systems are implemented with the same criteria and terminology as pharmaceutical laboratories.
ISO 14001
Thos standard refers to environmental management systems and, therefore, to the companies’ commitment with the environment. This certification helps organizations identify, prioritize and manage environmental risks within their usual practices.
The fulfillment of this norm implies the establishment of objectives that include a more efficient use of the raw materials, reducing its impact in the extraction of natural resources and reducing the costs. Likewise, establishing these objectives and processes facilitates legal compliance in relation to waste management and environmental risks.

Also within this quality, Amfer stands out by a structure that allows to meet emergencies and tight deadlines and the possibility of testing and short runs so that the products delivered meet the customer’s expectations
