This is why since its inception 50 years ago, the company has been a pioneer in the use of resources, in good waste management and in the incorporation of new equipment and more efficient and less polluting technologies. Its products, the aluminum tube and laminate tube, are both recyclable forms of packaging.
Thus, the company finally decided to implement an environmental management system based on ISO 14001 and obtained certification in 2017, with no major non-conformance.
This achievement strengthens Witte y Solà’s commitment to protecting the environment and joins other distinctions granted to the company in terms of quality (ISO 9001 – Quality management systems and ISO 15378 – Primary packaging materials for medicinal products).
